Roger Craig Smith Interviewed at iDigitalTimes

Roger Craig Smith is voicing Batman in the new animated movie, Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts, so quite a few interviews are showing up lately. Check out his interview with iDigitalTimes here!

“To me it doesn’t matter what I’m doing with my face as long as the emotion is there in my vocal performance,” Smith said. “Sometimes I think [motion-capture] is a hindrance to a voiceover performance because they want you to do things with your face that makes their job easier to animate the characters. Sometimes it doesn’t really lend itself to a more organic voiceover performance…It’s a little more challenging for me because I like the ‘theater of the mind’ element to voiceover.”
