Man Cave Daily: Ok, Google isn’t much help on this — what is a video game actor?
Troy Baker: The definition has evolved drastically, especially in the last five to six years. Before it was kind of like a radio play actor where you grunt and scream. Maybe some monster sounds and occasionally they’ll give you one cheesy line of really bad dialogue–now it’s become this thing to where the narrative is such an integral part to the experience and having a really interesting story and good characters that create this immersive experience that there’s been the necessitation of having really good actors.
